I loved the Pike Place Market best when it was awash with piss and bordered by strip clubs and pawn shops. But I do concede the new shiny gentrified version is worth a visit, particularly since the donut stall is still there.

One of my favorite places in the world: Randy’s Restaurant on East Marginal Way in Tukwila Washington. My grandma brought me here at some point in the 1970’s, and I come back whenever I can get a ride.

Hanging out with my mother as she pursues her post-retirement career: buying old shit at the Goodwill Bins store, roughing it up, and selling it on.
