





While a student at the Slade, Augustus John would rip up and discard his sketches. Another student pulled them out of the trash and compiled albums out of the remnants. Weird; but weirder still, the albums are on display in the UCL Art Museum.


My pedestrian commute through central London often takes me across the UCL campus, where I always take a moment to say hello to Jeremy Bentham.

New to the London house collection– Tooticky!

It is really annoying to travel with coeliac but I persevere! Beyond Bread is both safe AND good (which is rare).


One of the most interesting houses in London.
The medieval church was destroyed in the Great Fire, rebuilt by Christopher Wren, renovated by George Gilbert Scott, bombed in the Blitz, demolished after the war except for this tower… which is now private housing stranded on a traffic island between banks.
